Blue Spark Technologies Names John Gannon CEO Norbert Dawalibi to take on new role as Executive Chairman of the Board
Cleveland, Ohio ― October 12, 2011 ― Blue Spark Technologies, the leading supplier of thin, flexible disposable printed battery solutions, is pleased to announce that Mr. John Gannon has accepted the position of President and Chief Executive Officer effective immediately. Former CEO, Mr. Norbert Dawalibi, will play an active role in the Company as the new Executive Chairman of the Board.

Mr. Gannon’s distinguished career includes senior executive positions at companies such as Equitek Capital, Barclays Capital, NationsBank, Merrill Lynch International and General Electric. Since 2004 Mr. Gannon has been a General Partner at SunBridge Partners, an early-stage venture capital group which employs a targeted pro-active research approach to identify future market leaders in the areas of Software-as-a-Service, Wireless and Power. Mr. Gannon obtained his Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University in Aerospace Engineering and an MBA from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.
